Lots of girlfriends will have their own conflicting opinions which will only cloud your judgement. It’s your dress at the end of the day so your choice.
When to dress shop – most brides start looking on average 12 months from the date of their wedding. This allows plenty of time to find the gown and to allow for delivery and fittings prior to the wedding. It can also then help when other decisions need to be made regarding colour schemes, bridesmaids etc.
Be open minded – lots of brides have an idea of how they see themselves on their wedding day. But your Bridal Stylist will be able to help you try gowns that will be the most flattering to your shape, style and skin tone that you may not have thought of. How many times do you hear brides say “I ended up with a wedding dress that was nothing like what I thought I would wear!.
